Look, it’s always a good time to watch a movie about being brave and resisting fascism. I wish there had been more of that and less of the… mid songs? Sorry theatre-philes, the songs are mid. Cynthia’s got a killer voice. Ariana’s pretty great, too, but her giant lips and scapulae were distracting? Jonathan could have chemistry with a literal spec of dirt. Michelle’s got the moves of a powerful HBIC. And Jeff! Not enough Jeff! He’s a great villain with impeccable style and I wish we’d had more of him. This film was very pretty, but it was also kinda boring!

This is a very beautiful movie that made my brain feel like candy to look at. Unfortunately it was cotton candy cause I weirdly had a hard time following the plot. Most characters were bad and that was disheartening. Jeff was a silver fox.
